How to crop and add a faded border using Photoshop

Hi everyone, just a quick tutorial for you today on how to crop and add a faded border.  I created this tutorial using Photoshop Elements 7, I'm not sure if it will work with other program's
   Hope this is helpful to someone!

    Hi Tamara

    Thanks for this tutorial I've got Elements 7 and really don't know how to use it - I've just had a go following your tutorial and now have a feathered edge to one of my photos (I must admit I love that "softened" look. Now I just need to learn about brushes and perhaps how to create my own signature watermark for my cards.....)
